Our history

In our family, the passion for the aesthetic renovation of real estate has a well-known history dating back to the establishment of the VITEX paint industry. The industrialist Armodios Yannidis knew well how to upgrade the quality of the Athenian house since the middle of the last century, when, together with his brothers, he founded the widely recognized paint processing unit, as a development of the commercial activity of insulating materials.

“When you are able to correctly identify and highlight a property’s potential, you know its true value and therefore you communicate it correctly,” Andreas Lionis had told him, from the point of view of a legal professional with a tenure in the diplomatic corps. This is how the idea was born and this is what eventually led, after the Lionis and Yannidis families were united in kinship, to the founding of the company ‘Asteres’.

Today, the third generation of the family, faithfully adhering to the same principles and values, has undertaken to develop the business in response to the requirements of an era that has changed radically, both in terms of market conditions and marketing approaches. Asteres SA has now been called upon to face this challenge, under Konstantinos Lionis, an economist by training (graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business) with extensive working experience in the tourism and real estate sectors.
